Freewheel Clutches
A freewheel clutch is switched on and off through the relative direction of rotation of the drive-r and the drive-n parts of the installation. A freewheel clutch has two operating states: a) the drive-r and the drive-n part rotate synchronously (n1 = n2) and hence they are coupled; b) the drive-r part rotates at a lower speed than the drive-n part (n1 < n2) resulting in the disconnection of the two parts. Bore ø = 12 .. 80 mm.
